She also has experience working with a variety of pain conditions including sports injuries, concussions, acute and chronic pain and side effects of cancer treatment. She has experience working in both the hospital inpatient and outpatient clinic settings where she witnessed how patients significantly benefited from integrated medical care. Acupuncture works synergistically with chiropractic care, massage and craniosacral therapies to promote health and restore function. Marie is happy to be working with the team of providers at Turning Leaf Chiropractic to support her patient’s individual care needs to help them regain function and feel their best.
Marie received her master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University and her doctorate degree from Pacific College of Health and Science. In the acute care hospital setting she worked primarily with maternity, and post-surgical orthopedic patients. She also worked in oncology, chronic pain and Integrative medicine clinics. She has completed advanced training in Oncology, Orthopedic Acupuncture (Dry Needling), Facial Acupuncture, and Microneedling.

Marie is married and has two teenage boys and a rescue dog named Kali. Her boys are in multiple sports, and she enjoys watching them compete. In her free time Marie also enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, walking, biking, working out at the gym with her husband and reading a good book.
